Want to lose weight? Need more energy? Want healthier skin? These are just some of the benefits of eating a raw food diet. Personally, its not for me right now, but you never know – I may opt for it sometime in the future.
One of the major benefits of a raw food diet is the reduced risk of heart disease. And in this day and age, that really is something to consider with all of the options you have for eating junk food, like burgers and sugary snacks.
As I have gotten older, I have really started to focus on keeping my cardio vascular system healthy. I walk two to three miles every day with my German shepherd, Zoe, and I generally eat a low fat diet. I am forty now, so maybe in a few years I’ll take a closer look at the raw food diet, particularly if its good for your digestion as well.
