Why Eat a Raw Food Diet

Want to lose weight? Need more energy? Want healthier skin? These are just some of the benefits of eating a raw food diet. Personally, its not for me right now, but you never know – I may opt for it sometime in the future.

One of the major benefits of a raw food diet is the reduced risk of heart disease. And in this day and age, that really is something to consider with all of the options you have for eating junk food, like burgers and sugary snacks.

As I have gotten older, I have really started to focus on keeping my cardio vascular system healthy. I walk two to three miles every day with my German shepherd, Zoe, and I generally eat a low fat diet. I am forty now, so maybe in a few years I’ll take a closer look at the raw food diet, particularly if its good for your digestion as well.

Is a Stair Stepper Good Value When it Comes to Fitness

Like any other type of fitness equipment, you get what you pay for when you buy any kind of stair stepper. At the top of the range are of course Stairmaster, then brands like Lifefitness, Sunny Health & Fitness and Stamina produce the best quality stepping machines that you can use at home.

A big favorite, for use in the home is the Stamina Spacemate Folding mini stepper, which is actually an Amazon best seller. This is because it has a steady base, with firm but easy to use handles which hit the upper body while your legs pump at the steps.

So the question of whether a stepper gives you value for money can only be answered by analyzing what your goals are. Do you plan on working out for an hour twice per day, or a 15 – 20  minute program just to burn of some calories?

If you’re planning on huge workouts, then you must spend more on your stepper or you’ll probably break it! If however, you just want to do short daily workouts, say during your lunch break at work, a mini stepper will do just fine.
